Taxonomy
The female holotype of Bocchoris trimaculalis Snellen, 1880: 232, Snellen (1884) pl.4, figs 2, 2a, from Sulawesi, is in Leiden.

Description
Wing length: 8mm. A Bocchoris sp. with three white spots, two on the FW. The black abdomen is ringed by white on the first, fifth and eigth sergment. A long tuft of white scales project backwards from behind the eyes. Other Bocchoris spp. and morphospecies have more white spots on the FW. Schulze (2000) taxon #683 & #083.

Distribution & Habitat
Burma, Thailand, W. Malaysia, Sabah, Indonesia (Sulawesi). Lowland, Primary forest and cultivated areas.
